About Me

A little bit about me, well I'm a just a regular bloke from South Manchester who loves having a laugh and meeting new people. I like nothing better than sitting with a pint of Guinness or real ale and putting the world to rights with my friends and family.

I'm 30 something, a Scorpio, lover of all things Manchester United & apple. I have a beard a fantastic family and a great bunch of real mates, those kinds of friends that are always there no matter what and you just pick up where you left off no matter how long it's been since you were together. I like to think that on occasions I'm relatively funny, I have been brought up well enough to know whats right and whats wrong, but this doesn't stop me from pushing my luck from time to time.

I have a pretty big family in comparison to most, there's me mum Kathryn, me big sister Lisa, me kid sister Siobhan & our kid Riordan. Add to the group me grans Maureen & Milly, my uncle Jason, the brother-in-law  Dave & me Auntie Sue & Uncle Phil; then there are the nieces and nephews, Izasqun, Fionnuala, Evanah, Violet & Tadhg. It's not very often we are all in the same place, but when we are, it's always let's say eventful.

This blog is for my friends and family to follow my trip around the world, to join in and experience in a way the things I'll be doing, the places I'm going and the people I am going to meet. I've always fancied myself as a bit of a writer, so I'm also interested in how I can make money from blogging and also how my blog can help others on their travels.

It's been a lifelong dream to travel and experience what the world has to offer, that I have been able to turn into reality with hard graft and determination. I am excited about what the future has in store for me.
